Autodesk Fusion 360 is a professional CAD application that offers a free licence for hobbyists and has become the de facto standard in the 3D printing community. With its parametric modelling approach, your design history is stored as editable steps.

The power of parametric design is this: when you change the diameter of a screw hole or the wall thickness of a box from a single value, the entire model updates automatically. On 3D printing projects that require iterative sizing, this saves hours of work.

Fusion 360 also offers assembly simulation, structural analysis, and direct STL/3MF export. If you are unsure about the manufacturability of your Fusion designs, you can also send them to us in F3D or STEP format.
